Naturally Flamenco. Andalusia Flamenco Ballet / Veranos de la Villa

The Central Courtyard at Conde Duque Cultural Centre will be hosting a show by Úrsula López’s flamenco company on 3 and 4 August, made up of seven numbers in which there will be a large number of styles in the repertoire.  This project is part of the programme of the Veranos de la Villa festival.

In the latest edition of Veranos de la Villa, flamenco is represented by company of the former director of the Andalusia Flamenco Ballet, Úrsula López, and her Naturally Flamenco show that is also a sincere and authentic way of showing this national heritage art.

The show comes about from combining the enthusiasm, knowledge and outstanding sensitivity of a company made up of professionals who are passionate about flamenco. With the choreographic collaboration of Rubén Olmo (former director of the Andalusia Flamenco Ballet, winner of the National Dance Award and Director of the Spanish National Ballet since 2019) and Úrsula López as artistic director, the continuous process of creation in the land where the flamenco that we know today was born is evident in this proposal.

Throughout the seven numbers, various styles of the repertoire are touched in an elegant way in a choreographic show that presents flamenco dance in a way that is part of nature and of life itself.
