This contemporary art gallery was opened in Valladolid in March 2015, although it moved to the Oporto neighbourhood of Carabanchel in 2019. It is managed by its founder, Pedro Gallego de Lerma, and Yaiza González. The main purpose of La Gran is close interaction with those who express an interest in their work and that of the artists they represent.
In addition to interacting with the studios of artists linked to the gallery, they continue representing and supporting the career of a group of emerging and mid-career artists (mainly women), interested in the interaction of aesthetic phenomena with their social or political contexts. This is the case of Marina Núñez, Enrique Marty, Ignacio Pérez-Jofre, Laura Salguero, Luis Pérez Calvo, Verónica Vicente, Laura López Balza, Elisa Terroba, Eva Díez, Josep Tornero, Mariajosé Gallardo, Moreno&Grau, Ana Teresa Barboza, Cristina Ramírez, María Acuyo and Javier Rodríguez Pino.
They have held many exhibitions at the gallery and attended fairs like Estampa, Urvanity, ArteSantander, Pinta Miami, Art Marbella, MARTE or JUSTMAD.
Since the 2019-2020 season, they have been in alliance with the Espacio Líquido gallery (from Gijón), holding some joint projects, exhibitions and attending various fairs together.
