In the upper part of Embajadores we find the former café of the Teatro Pavón, a traditional neighbourhood café with a zinc bar, wooden tables and chairs, large windows, and an art deco wooden ceiling dating back to 1924, which was uncovered during some renovation work. Restored and reopened in 2015, you can enjoy breakfast, appetizers, small plates, beers, drinks and cocktails.
Its menu, simple but tasty, offers draught beer, quality coffee, and traditional fare such as Russian salad and potato omelette.
