Madrid will host, from 26 to 28 June 24, the 11th ACM Celebration of Women in Computing: womENcourage™ 2024
The participation is open to all genders and will provide with a full program of activities
Program of Activities
WomENcourage proposes a program full of exciting activities including:
* A hackathon were you can ideate creative solutions for the challenge “AI Fair Play Hackathon: Ensuring Equity in Language Technology” sponsored by NEC Laboratories Europe GmbH
* More than 60 students’ posters showing their innovative projects and ideas
* More than 15 workshops on different technologies and issues related with ICT, including technical workshops from Airbus, Telefónica and Scalian Spain
* Amazing keynotes by Marta Villegas and Virginia Dignum and innovative and inspiring techtalks from our supporters.
* A career fair where you can directly interact with leading companies
* We have a last-minute only registration scholarship open
WomENcourage 2024 will definitely be a vibrant event open to all genders, aimed at celebrating the role and impact of women in computing, and supporting participants at different stages in their STEM careers by offering an international, multisectoral, and multidisciplinary forum to share experience and knowledge, get constructive feedback, and promote meaningful networking.
