In early October a project was presented at the Mahou San Miguel headquarters which will transform the Duke of Infantado palatial mansion into the first cultural centre devoted to beer. This will be another unique feather in Madrid’s cap, strengthening the range of its tourist attractions with a venue where the public can enjoy an experience that revolves around beer. The museum is scheduled to open in 2016.
The establishment will be decorated with red ceilings with mirrors, a staircase in the centre of the building, an outdoor amphitheatre offering views of the city’s sunsets and an inner courtyard whose ceiling will feature a movable mirror that can be raised in order to reflect Madrid’s skyline.
