The symphonic and alternative metal band Within Temptation will be in concert on 24 November 2024 at the Vistalegre Arena Palace to present its latest album to Spanish fans: Bleed Out.
Founded in 1996 in Waddinxveen (The Netherlands) by singer Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt, Within Temptation began performing doom metal, Celtic metal and gothic metal chords to gradually evolve to combine elements of metal, classical music and rock, creating a distinctive style that has gained popularity on the symphonic metal scene.
The band has also become known for its impressive live performances and music videos. Its songs are usually created with poetic and emotive lyrics addressing themes like love, loss and personal struggle. Over the course of its career, Within Temptation has released eight studio albums, including Mother Earth, The Silent Force, The Heart of Everything and Hydra. It has also recorded three EPs, five live albums and a compilation: The Q-Music Session. The group has sold more than three million copies worldwide, going platinum in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
On its latest tour which will stop off in Madrid, Within Temptation will feature guest artists with whom it has collaborated recently. This is the case of singer Tarja Turunen and producer and vocalist Alex Yarmak, with whom the band collaborated on its latest single A Fool's Parade. They will both be part of the night's special performances. Guest bands include the German metalcore group Annisokay, the Ukrainian band Blind8 and Green Lizard from the Netherlands.
