The English alternative indie rock band will be performing on 9 July at La Riviera as part of Vibra Mahou by Mad Cool Tour in which they will present their fourth album Dead Club City, released in 2023.
Nothing But Thieves is an English band formed in 2012 by vocalist Conor Mason, guitarist Joe Langridge-Brown, guitarist and keyboardist Dominic Craik, drummer James Price and bass player Philip Mlake. Their hononymous debut album released in 2015, Nothing But Thieves, was well received, entering the UK charts and reaching number 3 on iTunes.
The band’s stage career began as the support group for big bands, such as Muse and Awolnation. After gaining fame and accumulating hits, they went on a solo tour across Europe and America. Their second album, Broken Machine (2017), was produced by Mike Crossey from Arctic Monkeys and their singles Amsterdam and Sorry exceeded 22 million plays on Spotify. In mid-2020, the band released their third album, Moral Panic, which contained singles such as Is Everybody Going Crazy?, Futureproof and Real Love Song.
Nothing But Thieves are embarking on another worldwide tour to present their fourth album, Dead Club City, released in June 2023, whose title track is Welcome to the DCC, which is also the name of the tour. This album became the band's first to reach number one in the OCC album chart in the United Kingdom. Overcome is the second advance song of the album, whereby it is an epic pop song with nostalgia but captivatingly modern.
