The excitement of American football is coming to Madrid in 2025, when the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium will host an NFL regular league game. After visiting London, Mexico City, Munich, Frankfurt and Sao Paolo (in 2024), the North American giant will be coming to Spain, consolidating Madrid as a world centre for sport and entertainment
This will be the first time that an official National Football League (NFL) regular season game will be played in Spain, in which Real Madrid will collaborate as it will be played at the iconic Santiago Bernabéu stadium that has recently been refurbished.
Although the calendar for the NFL 2023 season is not yet known, according to several sources, the Miami Dolphins or Chicago Bears may be playing as the home side in this match in Madrid.
In this way, the NFL continues to expand beyond US borders, having played five matches outside North America in the 2023 season (three in London and two in Frankfurt).
