The British singer-songwriter and musician, Ed Sheeran, one of the most commercially successful artists, is returning to Spain as part of his Mathematics European Tour 2025. This tour will stop off at the Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium on 30 and 31 May 2025, where he will run through all of his hits from a decade of mathematical albums, including his latest album, -.
Ed Sheeran is an artist who has marked an era and has sold around 200 million albums worldwide throughout his professional career. Following on from the success of his +-=÷x tour around the United States, the British artist took his tour to Southeast Asia, the Arab Emirates, India and now he is back in Europe in 2025.
The multi-faceted artist is able to take any style and mould genres to adapt them to his own musical character. In this way, elements of folk, hip-hop, pop, dance, soul and rock can be heard in hits like Thinking Out Loud, Shape of You, The A Team and Sing.
His international recognition came in 2011 with his debut LP, +, and thanks to his subsequent albums, x (2014) and ÷ (2017), he went to the top of the UK album chart. His album, = (2021), focused mainly on songs about his recent fatherhood, and his musical explorations continue in 2023 on the album, -, with several tracks co-written and co-produced by Aaron Dessner from The National, and his latest release, Autumn Variations.
Sheeran has become the first artist in UK history to hold the top two positions in the charts for two weeks, as well as holding two Top 10 positions on the US Billboard chart for the first time ever. He has also won several Grammy Awards for Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for his hit Thinking Out Loud in 2016 and he won Best Pop Vocal Album for Divide (÷) and Best Pop Solo Performance for Shape of You in 2018.
