La Moraleja club, situated on the road to Burgos, boasts two 18-hole golf courses, the first one built between 1974 and 1975, and the second one inaugurated in 1990. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, they are only 3km apart. The former, which offers a short, technical round, has hosted several professional tournaments; its narrow fairways, fast greens and abundant lakes turn each round into a challenge. Golf enthusiasts also have a 9-hole par 3 course, a practice course and a room for clubs at their disposal. However, La Moraleja’s facilities are not just limited to golf.
The club also offers two gyms (one for classes and group activities and the other one equipped with weights and machines), an outdoor and an indoor pool, 13 floodlit padel (sport similar to platform tennis) tennis courts: seven outdoor, two indoor and four covered courts, two of which have glass roofs and 6 for tennis (all floodlit), 3 squash courts, a football pitch with basketball hoops, a café and restaurant, Spa, Turkish bath, a shop selling equipment for golf and other sports, a hairdressers, a physiotherapist... It also hosts all sorts of cultural, social and private golf events.
The croquet facilities were opened in November 2021: it has two regulation croquet courses and one practice one. They are located in Field 2 and make up one of the most complete croquet facilities in the Community of Madrid.
Over the course of its history, the club has received several awards: in 2005, the club was awarded the Badge of Merit for Padel tennis; in 2011, the Royal Spanish Golf Federation awarded it the Badge of Merit for Golf; in 2014, just one year after its inauguration, the American magazine Golf Digest recognised Course 3 as the second-best course in Spain; and in 2017 Course 3 won the World of Leading Golf Award for best golf course maintenance.
Over the years the club has hosted major golf and padel tennis events.
