Sum 41

The Canadian alternative rock group has announced their separation after 28 years. To say goodbye to their audiences, they will be embarking on their final European tour, Tour of the Setting Sum. A tour that will bring them to the WiZink Center on 19 November where they will present their recent album Heaven :x: Hell that pays tribute to their career with ten pop-punk songs and ten heavy metal songs.

Formed in 1996 in Ajax, Canada, the band Sum 41 now composed of Deryck Whibley, Dave Baksh, Jason McCaslin, Tom Thacker and Frank Zummo had their first hit three years later with Fat Lip, their first ever single. Thanks to this record, their début album All Killer No Filler (2001) went platinum in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Throughout their career, the band has been nominated seven times for the Juno Awards, winning two of them: Band of the Year 2002 and Rock Album of the Year 2005 for Chuck. They were also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for the song Blood In My Eye.
