Pavilion 5.1 at IFEMA Madrid will host an immersive exhibition offering an interactive and exciting journey through the stories and characters of the Jurassic World franchise from 30 September to 26 May. It offers more than 50 large-scale dinosaurs, props, sets and activities made from more than 6 million LEGO® pieces by Brickman, directed by Ryan McNaught.
This exhibition created by Ryan “The Brickman” McNaught in collaboration with Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment is being brought to Madrid by Proactiv Entertainment. The successful Jurassic World franchise is coming to this event with the largest LEGO® exhibition ever shown in Spain.
Visitors will begin the tour by walking through the iconic 4-metre high Jurassic World gates to see the island and then the inner workings of its laboratory where dinosaurs are genetically manipulated. Explorers will venture into the baby dinosaur enclosure, where a life-size Brachiosaurus made from almost 2 tonnes of LEGO® pieces awaits them. They will also learn how to track dinosaurs around the island before encountering the escaped velociraptors, Blue and Delta and, of course, a huge T-rex.
One of the big attractions is the Baryonyx model, a firm favourite with the fans. Weighing in at 400 kg, this new dinosaur took 790 hours to build using 102,317 LEGO® pieces. It is 4.8 m long, over 1.5 m wide and stands 2.5 m high.
LEGO® fans will have plenty of activities with 2.5 million LEGO® pieces to play with. They will explore island construction, LEGO® palaeontology and discover mystery mosaics and hybrid dinosaur creations. They will learn how to track a dinosaur by creating species tracks, and even build escape vehicles to run away from a T-rex.
